Digital Marketing Specialist – SEO / MultiCare

Position Summary:
The Digital Marketing Specialist – SEO is responsible for developing and implementing system and network-wide search engine optimization (SEO) efforts. This role is part of the Digital Services team in Marketing Support Services.
Working collaboratively with the system, regional, IBU and network teams, the Specialist drives on-page and off-page SEO as a business marketing strategy. Responsible for helping develop and execute the organization’s overall SEO strategies to drive measurable results.

Key Accountabilities:
-Creates and implements comprehensive SEO audits including keyword research, targeting and mapping
-Consults and partners with the marketing and communication teams to optimize existing content and uncover new content development opportunities
-Advises on authority building strategies, such as business listings/directories, brand outreach, and more
-Proactively recommends updates to website architecture, on-page content optimizations, and semantic strategies (e.g., metadata, web copy, landing pages, internal linking)
-Builds and monitors performance reports to distribute actionable insights
-Develops and implements a long-term authority-building strategy, including tactics for brand outreach and online business listings
-Proactively researches industry and non-industry trends and competitors to identify new opportunities that drive results

Minimum Requirements:
-Two (2) years of experience working in a marketing, ecommerce or retail department
-Proven working experience in digital marketing
-Two (2) years of search engine optimization (SEO) experience required.
-Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
