All three of Spokane’s professional marketing, communications, and public relations organizations have collaborated to bring Disney Theatrical Group’s Marketing Executive and speaker, Scott Hemerling, to the Lilac City this September. Scott currently oversees the marketing, advertising, publicity, promotions and sales strategies for the national tours of THE LION KING, NEWSIES, and ALADDIN.

In the spirit of this collaboration, we’ve asked Scott to share lessons from his 15 years with Disney that are applicable to marketing, communications, and public relations professionals of all shapes and sizes. Scott will take us on a deep dive into the marketing of THE LION KING National Tour with examples of compelling advertising strategies, creative messaging and visuals, promotions and public relations strategies. Not all of us have Disney's budget, but we’ll all find something to apply to our own brands.
